Up for sale is a Used Martin Magna Alto Saxophone with Original Finish
Serial #206866 – 1959 Production
Serial number is stamped on both the body and neck receiver
Except for the thumb rest screw, it has all original parts.
The pads were replaced several years ago.
They still look good and seat fine.
New owner should expect to replace a few pads and corks to fine tune the adjustment and remove key clickage.
We are selling this in as is condition but it currently plays top to bottom range.
Our sax technician is a sax player and his comment was this has a big open sound.
There is a small dent on the bottom bow guard.
