Cake Plate 11” + 8 Saucers 7-3/4” Italy Game Chicken Rooster Cockfighting Dishes

Description

This set of cake plates is like new and apparently have never been used, with no utensil scratches whatever. The large plate is 11 inches in diameter. The back is painted with the words “140 Italy.” The 8 smaller plates are 7-3/4 inches in diameter. The back of each is painted with the words “N66 Italy.”
Although I am no expert on stoneware dishes, these plates appear to be hand made and hand painted, with inherent minor imperfections that are usual for handmade stoneware. Please review photos.
I do not know the exact origin or age of these plates. I acquired them in the 1970s from the previous owner and never used them. They are in mint condition with no chips or cracks, brightly colored, and absolutely gorgeous!
