    Description

    Blue hen on nest, approximately 7 inches long, base is 3 and 1/2 inches wide, measurement to tip of tail is 6 inches.  Excellent condition, see photos.  There are minor chips/imperfections on the edge of the covered dish part, as shown in photos.  There is no maker's mark but some knowledgeable folks in a collector's group believe this is made by Central Glass Company, 1867-1871.  It came from my dad's antique shop.  Needs to be in a home where it will be loved and appreciated.  My millennials have no interest.   Beautiful blue color which I have read its rare.
