Vintage 1939-40 King Zephyr Tenor Saxophone - Fully Repadded - Make an Offer!!

Description

This King Zephyr tenor saxophone was made in 1939 or 1940 according to its serial number (#237XXX) and it’s in good, playable condition. The original lacquer shows some wear but is in good shape for its age. There’s evidence of dentwork having been done on the bell bow, but other than some scarring on the lacquer the brass is smooth and looks good, and we see no other signs of any significant previous damage or repair. The serial number on the neck is the same as on the body. We’ve completely repadded this sax in our professional woodwind repair department to address any issues and to make sure it’s in top playing condition.
The case is not original to the instrument, but it’s a good quality Selmer case. It has a small amount of damage on one corner that we’ve repaired, so it should keep this sax protected for many years to come.
