    Description

    A superb example, and the most highly coveted, figurine of a Collie dog in the large size by Royal Doulton, England. This figurine was made in 3 sizes and this is the largest of the three, retired from production in 1960. It is model HN1057 of Champion Ashstead Applause by artist Frederick Daws. The size alone is impressive, 7 3/4" tall by 10" long. Add to that the superb detail and decoration and you will understand why this is the most coveted of this model. Fully hallmarked.
